About Us

Landsense Professional Ltd is a small team of rural surveyors and farm advisors whose aim is to provide

high quality, professional general practice, agricultural, sporting and rural consultancy advice. As part

of a small firm the diverse workload covers a broad spectrum of work and responsibilities and presents

an exciting opportunity for a capable and ambitious individual to join the firm for a fixed term contract

to cover a period of maternity leave based in South Molton, Devon.

The Role

We are seeking a capable, proactive, resourceful and self-motivated Farm Advisor or Qualified Rural

Surveyor to join our team. Depending on the level of experience, the position offers a wide and

interesting range of rural consultancy work and responsibilities such as Land and Estate management,

Planning and Development, Rural farm advice/grant schemes, and Sporting services. As well as working

on existing instructions, the successful candidate will be required to grow and develop new business

opportunities and work streams and win their own instructions. A connection with or knowledge of

North and West Devon, Somerset and Exmoor would be advantageous.

Please note: Because this is a maternity cover contract, the exact end date is subject to change depending

on the permanent postholder’s return date.

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

Practical, enthusiastic and professional work ethic with a commitment to high standards of work

and quality of service, whilst maintaining good time management and an ability to prioritise

work

A current driving licence

Desirable:

Applicants will also be required to have excellent written, verbal, presentation, and IT skills,

particularly in the use of Microsoft Office and digital mapping systems.
